He donated money for the purchase of cardigans to will prevent cold to all students in the school.

Yobe state Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Muhammad Sani Idriss says the visit aims at knowing the true situation of primary schools, especially the needs of teachers and pupils across the state.

While chatting with teachers in the school, he said they should feel free to tell him their problems , he’s ever ready to do everything possible to solve their problems.

Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai has commiserated with Emir of Pataskum, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya OON and the people of Potiskum LGA, over gunmen attack on the Emir’s convoy on Tuesday, January 12th, 2020, along Kaduna-Zaria Highway.

Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai representing Yobe South Senatorial District expressed deep sadness and sympathy over the attack on the Emir’s convoy, he Commiserates with the Emir and the families of his aides who were reportedly killed. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured ones and the release of other travellers from the hands of the abductors, unharmed.

Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai has donated blankets to orphanages, Tsangaya schools and prison as a gesture in bringing love and hope to his constituents.

Presenting the blankets on behalf of Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai to head of Tsangaya schools and Orphanages, Alh. Adamu Nagwaza state that “this gesture by Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai is part of his continued commitment as a representative of the good people of Yobe South to always reach out to the needy in times like this.”

It could be recalled that in less than eight (8) months in office, Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai is proving himself as the best representative Yobe South has ever had, installation of solar street lighting systems, facilitating the procurement of transformers and installation in various communities, and more recently, the construction of standard roads in Tandari and SabonLayin- Misau among others.

Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai wipes off tears of communities, flags of construction of roads. — YOBE EXPRESS

Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai flagged-off the construction of two roads in his constituency linking the major road leading to Potiskum General Hospital with Jibir Janco junction, extending to Bedo community in Bare-Bari Bauya ward, and from Jibir Janco Junction extending to Tandari.

Bomai Press Corps reports that the benefiting communties are Misau Road, Bedu, and Tandari Communties.

Speaking at the occasion, Alh. Muhammadu Buhari (Bodori) on behalf of Sen. Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai state that, the aim of the road construction is to link the communities with other parts of the town, in order to boost their commercial activities and aid the transportation of sick persons to health facilities conveniently.

In his remarks, Malam Sadam a highly respected elder in the neighborhood, thanked the Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai for facilitating the project work, for the construction of the two roads. He said his community had earlier lost hope but God had brought Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai to wipe away their tears.

The occasion is graced by prominent personalities, including Hon. Musa Abubakar (Musale), Malam Muhd Tanko, Adamu Na Gwaza, Umar Alaska, Mal. Habu Headmaster, Maina Zakaria, Mai Central, Ali Abubakar, and many others.

Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai has today launched two road construction in his constituency in a bid to link more neighbourhoods and ease transportation difficulties. The two identified roads are Misau and Tandari roads which are in Hausawa Asibiti and Bare-Bari Bauya wards in Potiskum LGA.

The identified untarred roads are considered critical to the reduction of traffic congestion and easing transportation difficulties in and out of the two communities, Senator Ibrahim Mohd Bomai facilitated the project work and have ordered its commencement in earnest.

The contractor Messrs I.I.C. Construction Company LTD had been given the mandate to immediately mobilise their equipment on the sites and commence major construction works on the identified roads.
