Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai on Monday Commiserated with the family of Dabo Aliyu a retired AIG and a former Administrator of Yobe State, His Excellency Hon Mai Mala Buni, the Executive Governor of Yobe State and the entire people of Yobe and Katsina State over the loss of the former Administrator.
I received the news of the passing on of Alhaji Dabo Aliyu (Retired AIG) and a former Administrator of Yobe State with grief and deep sense of sorrow. The late Dabo Aliyu has given a great sense of focus and committed leadership as Administrator of Yobe State that witnessed remarkable infrastructural development,progress and unity among its diverse people. He was also a shining example of the police service which he served with loyalty ,commitment and patriotism. With his demise the entire Country had lost one of its great men who served the country selflessly.
On behalf of myself and the people of Yobe South, I commiserate with his family,His Excellency Hon Mai Mala Buni,the Executive Governor of Yobe State and the people of Yobe State,the Government and people of Katsina State and the entire Country over his loss as one of the illustrious sons of our great Country. May his departed soul be rewarded with Al jannatul firddaus. Amin.
On the mid-day of 14/9/2020, teaming supporters and delegates of Yobe State received Comrade Ladoja on a campaign tour to the State.
Comrade Ladoja who is from University of Ibadan, OYO State came over to solicits for support and votes from the delegates who are the SUG Presidents of various institutions cut across the Yobe State, he was received and warmly welcome by the Stakeholders and BOT forum of Yobe state on a short meeting where Respected Caders and Cabals were in attendance including Comrade Dauda Muhammad Gombe, Dr Aliyu Musa Bade, Comrade Baba Adamu, Comrade Mohammed ali kondoma, Comrade Saga, Comrade Bappa Hassan, Comrade Ahmad Tijjani Buhari, YAN, NYC, NUYOSS and many more.

Senator representing Yobe South, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has voluntarily invited Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to monitor the full implementation of his constituency projects which were appropriated and to be executed by the Nigerian Directorate of Employment (NDE).
In a letter he personally signed, Senator Bomai promised to acquaint the Commission with all the necessary information that will help them supervise all his activities from acquiring to distribution of the appropriated funds to the targeted beneficiaries.
This he said is in the spirit of transparency, accountability and probity.
In a swift response, the Commission promised to monitor the execution of the constituency projects by the Senator while commending him for voluntarily requesting the Commission’s supervision.
Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawal has finished arrangements to train youths across Yobe State on entrepreneurship. This was made known through a statement issued by Baba Anthony on his Facebook timeline.
he said ” a portal will be open for intending participants to apply and the duration for the training will be one month”. He went further to add that the training will start On Monday 7th- Sept- 2020 Insha Allah, and that three trades are available for the intending participants.

As today marks the 29th Anniversary of the creation of our dear state of Yobe, I rejoice this historic occasion with the Senate President Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawal, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni and His Deputy Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Geidam, Members of the House of Representatives, Speaker and Members of the State House of Assembly, Members of the State Executive Council, State Chairman and Other Officials of our great Party, the APC, Our respected Traditional Rulers, Eminent Personalities and all the great people of Yobe State.
In the twenty nine years of its existence our dear State has witnessed giant strides and monumental infrastructural development in all spheres of life. We have recorded remarkable improvement in road construction, education, health care, agriculture, housing and creation of wealth among others.All these can be alluded to the indefatigable and committed leadership of our Governors and the support of all our people in various walks of life.
As a State despite our different backgrounds, we have remained peaceful and united and this provided the enabling environment for our growth and development.
Therefore, as we celebrate this great day of the creation of the State, I pray to the Almighty Allah to further continue uniting and giving us the strength to work for its progress and development.
I received the news of passing away of Malam Mamman Adamu the Chiroman Pataskum with deep sadness. I commiserate with his family, the Mai of Pataskum and his Emirate Council and the entire people of Yobe South and the State over this great loss. The contributions of the late Chiroma as a seasoned educationist and accomplished civil servant to our dear state is quite remarkable. Indeed, we have lost one of our great elders whose wise counsels and advices we require at this critical period of our national development.
In a bid to promote efficient, effective and wider health care delivery in Yobe South, Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai has began the construction of two Maternity clinics at Dawasa in Nangere LGA and KukarGadu in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State, Senator Bomai state that “the purpose of the health clinics is to enable our rural women to have access to medical facilities closer to them rather than traveling to Potiskum or other places to seek for maternal and child healthcare.”
He further state that “the provision of the Maternity clinics will reduce infant and maternal mortality rate.”
This gesture by Senator Bomai was meant to complement the already effort by Governor Mai Mala Buni in providing affordable health care services, especially in rural communities across the State. You may recalled that the Government of Yobe State has not very long ago began massive rehabilitation and reconstruction of Primary Health Care Centres across the State, with the view to improve access to health care by the population.
This action by Senator Bomai is worthy of compliments, as it came at a time when the nation is faced by the effects of the Novel coronavirus (nCoV) which has wrecked harvock to every sector of the nation.
It is Worthy to note that, Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai is always mindful of the health wellbeing of his constituents, and therefore will use all possible means to provide his constituents with the best health care delivery systems.

Eid-el-fitr: Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai Felicitates With Muslim Faithfuls, Calls For Unity
Yobe South Senator, Distinguished Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai, has extended his felicitations to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the Deputy Governor, the Speaker and Members of the State House of Assembly, Members of the State Executive Council, Traditional Rulers, the State Chairman APC and other Officials, Chairmen and Members of Boards and Corporations and the entire Muslim faithfuls across Yobe South Senatorial District and the State at large, on the successful completion of the month-long Ramadan Fast, he also called for unity in order to sustain peace and progress of the State.
In a statement issued to commemorate the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai said “This Eid el Fitr comes at a very trying period with a lot of hardship to our people further exacerbated by the Corona pandemic that disrupted our socioeconomic activities.”
Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai salutes his constituents for their perseverance despite the current challenges and hardship, he said “We have made our modest efforts at bringing some succour to our people and InshaAllah we are poised at bringing more help in order to improve their well being.”
He called on his constituents to refrain from acrimonious political utterances and invectives aimed at denigrating political opponents to create chaos, saying “we are not against meaningful constructive criticism, but condemned creation of lies on personalities of people to damage their reputation.”
He went further to say that “it is imperative for Muslim ummah to unite and sustain peace so that we can uplift the quality of lives of our people to reduce the endemic poverty through well thought inclusive empowerment projects and programmes.”
