Our attention has been drawn to the campaign of calumny and mischievous claims by the antics of our political progress who for reason best known to them have resorted to misleading members of the public on some developmental projects being executed within the district.
Ordinarily, we ought to have ignore their baseless claims if not for the sake of putting the record straight and save the constituents from fallen victims of their wild lies. To say the least, they are just purveyors of Fake News.
It is highly unfortunate that Mohammed Hassan and his group of unpatriotic and selfish persons have been employing all kinds of machinations, character assassination and blatant lies to abuse the minds of our good people from the focussed and well intentioned implementation of the 2019 constituency projects by our bonafide Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai.
It is not in doubt that the 2019 constituency projects were conceived during the tenure of Mohammed Hassan. However, since he ceased to be the senator whether himself or his gang of supporters have no right and are not responsible for the implementation of the projects as this is the absolute responsibility of the present Senator Bomai.
If not for the unnecessary interference by the embattled former Senator, by now Senator Bomai could have already have finished with the implementation of the 2019 projects.
In spite of that, Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai is committed to ensuring that all the 2019 projects that could not be implemented during the tenure of Mohammed Hassan are not only implemented but qualitatively delivered to the satisfaction of our constituency.
The disruptive activities of Mohammed Hassan and his group are purely based on crude political opposition aimed at promoting their greedy and selfish political interest instead of championing for peace, progress and development of our constituency, ideals for which Senator Bomai stands for.
We therefore call upon all our well-meaning people to disregard the lies being peddled by Mohammed Hassan and his group towards disrupting the implementation of the 2019 projects.
While we are once again calling upon our good people of the constituency not to believe in all those lies being said on the projects, we wish to assure you that Senator Bomai will not be discouraged or thwarted from his zeal at making Yobe South, as a role model for other constituencies and he will remain peaceful and committed to our people.
We therefore thank all our people particularly our elders, party officials, women and the youths to continue giving Senator Bomai your support and cooperation in cultivating peace, harmony and bringing unprecedented socio economic development to our constituency.
